Take My Pet strives to conduct business according to the highest standards of ethics by providing its users with a high-quality Platform. Take My Pet aims to handle user data responsibly. This Privacy Policy outlines how Take My Pet uses the various types of personal data it collects from users.

4. Sharing Your Information

4.1 Sharing Between Users

To enable pet sitting arrangements and interactions between users, we share certain information:

• When a Pet Owner submits a booking request, their name and other authorized information is shared with the potential Pet Sitter
• Once a booking is confirmed, the user can share additional information like phone number or address to coordinate the arrangement. Take My Pet will never share your phone number or address without your consent.
• Profile information, including names, photos, and descriptions that are part of your public profile

Users are solely responsible for the content they upload, share, or transmit through the Platform, including pet photos, home descriptions, and messages. Take My Pet does not verify the accuracy, legality, or appropriateness of user-provided content and disclaims any responsibility or liability arising from such content.

4.2 Public Profiles and Listings

Take My Pet allows you to publish information that is visible to everyone:

• Your public profile page shows information like your first name, description, and location
• Listing pages include your description, availability, profile photo, and additional information you choose to share
• After a completed pet sitting session, Pet Owners can write reviews and rate Pet Sitters. These ratings are part of the Pet Sitter's public profile

4.3 Service Providers

Take My Pet uses several third-party service providers to help deliver our services:

• Google Firebase for authentication, data storage, and analytics
• Technical service providers for hosting, database management, and customer support

These service providers have limited access to your personal data and are contractually bound to protect it and use it only for the purposes for which it was disclosed.

All personal data is stored securely using Google Cloud Services' Data Privacy Framework, which complies with EU data regulations including GDPR. Additionally, device data is stored in an encrypted format to prevent unauthorized access.

In compliance with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and Apple's App Store guidelines, we do not knowingly collect, use, or disclose personal information from children under the age of 13. If we become aware that we have inadvertently collected personal information from a child under 13 without verified parental consent, we will take immediate steps to delete such information from our servers. By using the Platform, you represent that you are at least 18 years old. If you are not, please do not attempt to register for or use the Platform.

This Privacy Policy may be revised or updated by Take My Pet at any time. We will notify you of changes to the Privacy Policy by means of an appropriate notice on the website and via email, no later than the date of the revision or update.

If you do not agree with the revised Privacy Policy, you should delete your account. If your account has not been deleted before the date on which the revised Privacy Policy takes effect and you continue to access and/or use the Platform, the revised Privacy Policy will apply to you.
